The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency raised its EOC Activation Level to Level 2 – Partial Activation at 8:00 p.m. 12/04/2023, in response to the ongoing Atmospheric River Event. The EOC will be staffed with 2 PCEMA employees and supported by Pacific County Public Works, PACCOM and the PCSO. At this time the impacts from this event have been very limited, however, we anticipate maintaining this elevated posture through at least noon tomorrow. PCEMA Director McDougall will be operating remotely during non-business hours. All community lifeline areas are green at this time. We have seen some minor flooding on the Naselle River, some scattered power outages, and a number of trees down.
La Agencia de Manejo de Emergencias del Condado de Pacific elevó su nivel de activación del EOC al Nivel 2 – Activación parcial a las 8:00 p.m. 12/04/2023, en respuesta al Evento del Río Atmosférico. El EOC contará con 2 empleados de PCEMA y contará con el apoyo de Obras Públicas del Condado de Pacific, PACCOM y PCSO. En este momento, los impactos de este evento han sido muy limitados; sin embargo, anticipamos mantener esta postura elevada al menos hasta el mediodía de mañana. El director de PCEMA, McDougall, operará de forma remota fuera del horario comercial. Todas las áreas de vida comunitaria están verdes en este momento.
